Liftero is looking for an Electronics Engineer to work hands-on with hardware – from circuit and PCB design through prototypes and bring-up to testing, troubleshooting and system integration.

About Liftero

Liftero builds propulsion systems for the fast-growing small-satellite market. Its core product, BOOSTER, is a non-toxic chemical propulsion system designed for the NewSpace era and already proven in orbit. The company's stated goal is to put 1,000 propulsion systems into space.

What you will do

  • Design analog and digital circuits for real-world applications
  • Create PCBs, schematics and technical documentation
  • Select components against technical, project and environmental requirements
  • Build, bring up, measure and test prototypes with multimeters, oscilloscopes and logic analysers
  • Diagnose hardware issues from board level to complete devices
  • Design and commission control, measurement and actuator systems
  • Build test plans, test benches and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) systems
  • Run functional and integration tests and analyse results
  • Work closely with embedded software, mechanical and test engineers
  • Take ownership of modules and subsystems as you grow

What you bring

  • A degree in electronics, electrical engineering, automation, mechatronics or similar
  • Solid practical knowledge of analog and digital electronics
  • Hands-on PCB design, ideally in Altium
  • Ability to read and write schematics and documentation in English
  • Understanding of microcontroller-based systems
  • Experience with CAN and RS-232 interfaces
  • Independent hardware troubleshooting and a systematic approach
  • Circuit simulation in LTspice or similar
  • Strong SMD soldering skills and experience preparing manufacturing documentation

Nice to have

  • Altium Designer, Mentor Xpedition or KiCad
  • Reflow soldering and pick-and-place machines
  • Space electronics or standardised design processes (e.g. ISO 26262)
  • EMC/EMI compliance and signal integrity (CISPR 25)

What Liftero offers

  • Work on hardware that flies in space, at an early stage of a fast-growing listed company
  • Real ownership of your area and a voice in what the company ships
  • Performance-based stock options
  • Private healthcare, Multisport card and a training budget
  • A fast-paced team that respects your time outside work; no prior space experience required

The original posting states a Polish employment contract (UoP) with stock options. It does not name a location or work model; Kraków is assumed from Liftero's other postings. Salary is not disclosed.
