Project Manager

KP Labs is looking for a Project Manager to run multidisciplinary technology projects across their full lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Manage technology projects throughout the full project lifecycle - from initiation and planning to execution, monitoring, and closure
• Coordinate cross-functional project teams, including engineering, software, hardware, AIT/AIV, production, and business teams
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, risks, dependencies, deliverables, and overall progress, taking corrective actions when needed
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with agreed requirements and quality standards
• Identify and manage project risks and coordinate mitigation actions together with technical teams
• Organize and lead project meetings, reviews, and status updates
• Maintain clear and up-to-date project documentation and prepare progress reports, presentations, and meeting minutes
• Manage communication with customers, partners, subcontractors, and other internal and external stakeholders
• Support contract execution by monitoring project obligations, deliverables, and changes in project scope
• Work closely with technical leads and engineering teams to align project objectives with technical activities
• Support the continuous improvement of project management processes and tools within KP Labs

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in project management, preferably in a technology, engineering, or R&D environment
• Experience in coordinating multidisciplinary and technically complex projects involving multiple teams and stakeholders
• Experience in project scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and progress monitoring
• Experience in working directly with customers and external project stakeholders
• Ability to understand technical topics and communicate effectively with engineering teams
• Strong planning, organizational, communication, and prioritization skills
• Ability to identify project dependencies and risks and proactively coordinate mitigation actions
• Experience with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Project, or similar
• Ability to work independently, take ownership, and make decisions in a dynamic project environment
• Very good command of English (at least B2 level), enabling effective communication with international customers and partners

Nice to have

• Experience in the space, aerospace, defence, or high-tech industry
• Experience in projects carried out for or in cooperation with ESA or other European institutions
• Knowledge of ECSS standards and the space project lifecycle
• Experience in managing R&D projects involving hardware and software development
• Knowledge of project management methodologies and frameworks such as PMI, PRINCE2, Agile, or similar
• Experience in customer-facing project management roles
• Technical or engineering educational background
